The MP for Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency, Alban Bagbin is currently on the news for allegedly customizing alcoholic drinks with his political images and information. People have reacted with the images and said they were ‘photoshopped’ and some other people think he actually made these drinks to win votes in the rural areas where he thinks people appreciate alcohol.

Florence Kpan, who is a member of Bagbin’s team came out to ‘rubbish’ the whole issue claiming it was a plot to tarnish the image of The Nadowli-Kaleo Mp. She said this below:

“Our Attention has been drawn to a fabricated picture making rounds on Social media especially Facebook. It is that of a popular alcoholic drink called Striker with the photo of Hon. Bagbin plastered on it. This is obviously a crudely photo shopped picture aimed at embarrassing the hard working Legislator. It is pure “plastic surgery” with no iota of truth in it and loaded with mischief! Please be informed that the Hon. MP had a good belly laugh when he saw this piece of thrash. Hon. Bagbin does not drink alcohol and will not encourage or promote such an act. It is an unholy and comical attempt to hoodwink the unsuspecting public.
Hon. Bagbin has his work cut out for him – Changing Lives in Nadowli/Kaleo and beyond, Tansforming Ghana. Nothing can take away his focus. God Bless.”
