Lambussie Community SHS Received an Isuzu Pickup

Three Pre Tertiary Schools Under the Ministry of Education have received buses and whilst another received an Isuzu Pickup from the Government in their Second Distribution window of 2022 spearheaded by the Vice President Dr. Bawumia.

The Schools include Lambussie Community SHS, Wa Senior High School, Kaleo Senior High School and Jamiat Islamic Girls SHS.

The Schools were shortlisted by the Upper West Regional Education office of Ghana Education Service.

In a Statement Issued by the Vice President On Behalf of the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum, It Reads:

“At a brief but colourful ceremony at the Accra Senior High School on Thursday, 26 May 2022, I handed over the keys for 75 buses and 5 Pickup trucks to some head tutors of Senior High Schools across Ghana.

In the education sector in the last two years, 365 Isuzu double cabin pickups have been distributed to all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Directorates of Education as well as selected agencies under the Ministry of Education, together with 493 motorbikes to aid the work of circuit supervisors and in July 2020, 100 buses were procured. We also handed over, in January 2022, 100 pickups and 50 buses to more schools.

I reiterated the holistic nature of the government’s interventions to continue to invest in infrastructure including classrooms, dormitories, administration blocks, libraries, dining halls and also transportation.”
