Former upper west regional chairman of the new patriotic party(NPP) Alhaji Abubakari Abdul Rahman has been sworn inn as the new council of state chairman Appointed by the president.
He is to replace the late Former Upper West Regional Minister Sahanun Moqtari who died later in the year.
Hon. Sahanun Moqtari Died in Office on 21st of October 2019.
He was ambassador it Burkina Faso from 2006 – 2009. From 1992 to 2002, he served as Upper West Regional Secretary. He became Regional Minister from 2001 – 2005.
He was Appointed Council of State chairman in 2017 and Died in 2019 whilst in Office.
