Provisional results shows he has floored the NDC’s Dr. Mark Kurt Nawaane.

What is not however clear is the margin of victory.
The former Minority Leader, who lost the seat in 2012, served in two ministerial positions before he entered Parliament in 2008. He served as the Regional Minister for the Upper West Region from 2004 to 2006 and Minister of State in the Ministry of Justice from 2006 to 2009.
