Asamoag Gyan’s fairytale continues in China
after grabbing a goal in Shanghai SIPG’s 4-2
routing of Chongqing Lifan in their week 21
clash of the Chinese Super League. The captain and talisman of the Black Stars
scored the third goal for his side on the 40th
minute mark after receiving a pass from Wu
Lei. Wu lei and Conca had earlier given the
Shanghai based club a 2-0 lead before Gyan
added the third and Wu Lei added the fourth
and his personal brace on the 79th minute. Chongquin Lifan pulled two back through their
Argentine playmaker Gigliotti. The result sees Gyan’s side back to the top of
the Chinese Super League with 42 points after
21 games.
