
Information Reaching Upper West Media Team from Sissala Radio’s Education Forum Hosted by Prince Bayi Yahaya Kpetine has Revealed Statistics of Educational Performance of 2022’s Basic Education Certificate Examination in the Sissala East Municipality.
Some Officers of the Education Directorate were called onboard to Analyse the Results of Past candidates and the Way Forward on Monday 5th June 2023.

Total Number of Candidates that wrote Last Year was 1,072 with
Boys 526, out of the Number, 30 boys had pass mark representing 5.7% Total Failure was 496 representing 94.3%.
Girls, 546 with 19 pass representing 3.5% whilst 527 girls failed representing 96.5%.
Best Aggregate for the Boys was 16, 2 boys had 26 one from Bawiesebelle and one from Try Academy.
The Best Aggregate for girls, best grade was 25. Two girls had grade 25, one from Holy Child and the other from TUTCO Demonstration.
Meanwhile an Education Consultant by name Baluwie Naliwie who was former DCE for Sissala West advocated for Staff Audit and teacher reassignment.
Several Stakeholders have commended the Sissala East Education Directorate for Coming Out with Results of Students for the Year 2022 advocating for Other Districts and Municipalities to follow suit.
The Regional Education Directorate had released Results for Second Cycle Institutions in the Upper West Region with Dafiama SHS Toping in the Ranking. St. Augustine Senior High Technical School was at the Buttom of the Ranking.
Some Other 10 Education Offices in the Upper West Region are yet to Make their Results Public.
