It is safe to say the last couple of months have
not been great for the controversial radio
personality and reggae artiste, Blakk Rasta. He was hauled before Parliament’s Privileges
Committee in June for claiming that over 80
percent of Members of Parliament smoke
Marijuana (wee). However that apology was not enough, he has
been ordered to appear before the bar of the
House, where he will render another apology,
this time in the presence of all MPs. Blakk Rasta apologized for the comments,
claiming that he was “on heat” during his show. The musician has, since his appearance
before the privileges committee, resigned from
Hitz FM, lamenting over the station’s lack of
support for him. The other person brought before the
Committee, Professor Dodoo has been pardoned.
