The District Chief Executive of DBI, Engineer Nadi Imoro Sanda has officially filed his nomination to contest in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries in the DBI Constituency on Thursday 10th August 2023.

He filed to contest for the second time in the party’s primaries during a well-attended event at Fian. With several party supporters in attendance. Speaking to his supporters and party members, Mr. Sanda Imoro Emphasized his commitment to the NPP’s core values and highlighted his track record of service to the constituency.

He has had the honour of serving DBI district for years, and also represented the NPP party as the parliamentary candidate in the 2020 elections where the NPP performed creditably by improving on its previous performance by 7.9 percent .

The District Chief Executive mentioned that the main battle is the 2024 general elections because the primaries is an internal affair. He promised to do a decent campaign based on issues of track record and not on insults and defamation of others.

He therefore appealed to his teaming supporters to campaign decently based on his track record and avoid attacks on the personality of other candidates. He pledged to abide by all rules governing the conduct of the elections and called on other candidates to do same.

Mr. Sanda Imoro is in the Race with Lawyer Naa Abdul Mujeeb Kele.
