The 38th Farmers Day celebration was duly observed in all the Districts of the Country.

In attendance at the National Occasion was the president, H.E Nana Akufo-Addo, Agriculture Minister, Dr. Owusu Akoto and other Stakeholders from Agric Development Bank.

The Overall Bed Farmer Was Awarded Ghc1 million Cedis cash price through the Agriculture Development Bank.

The President as part of the Occasion Assured that a tractor Assembly Plant will be established in the country to improve farming with available tractors.

Meanwhile in Dafiama-Busie-Issa District of Upper West Region, a Teacher by name Mishael Dabanguu ha been adjusted district best vegetable farmer of the district, he uses his free time to engage in vegetable farming. This he has been doing to support his education and his family.

Today, on the celebration of farmers’ day at Moyiri in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa district, his hard work was acknowledged and rewarded.

He was awarded the best vegetable farmer for the whole district.
He received a bicycle, snap spray, liquid fertilizer, certificate, lettuce and carrot seeds.
