Both Mr. Martin Bombaire and Miss. Katherine Lankono have been successful in the assembly elections conducted by the electoral commission to confirm the various nominees.
Upperwestmedia.net visited Nadowli-Kaleo at around 9:00am when elections were conducted, miss Lankono could not secure 100% of the total valid votes but was successful with 84% of the votes making it 38 out of 45 total votes. 7 assembly members voted against the candidate by picking ‘NO’. Various dignitaries were present including Mr. Bernard Mornah, P.N.C National Chairman and parliamentary candidate for Nadowli-Kaleo Constituency on the ticket of the P.N.C. others include Hon. Alban Kinsford Sumana Bagbin who is the MP For The constituency and doubles as second deputy speaker for Parliament, The Upper West Regional Minister, The N.PP Regional Chairman with his vice and outgone D.C.E For the constituency, Mr. Johnbosco Bomansaang were also in attendance.
The team later travelled to Lawra to cover the confirmation of Mr. Martin Bombaire.
Many Dignitaries were in attendance including Hon. Antony Abayifah Karbo, Mp for Lawra constituency and Deputy Regional Minister for roads and Highways others include Hon. Sahnun Moqtar who is a member of council of State.
Mr. Martin secured 100% confirmation which means he had 40 of 42. The remaining two were deceased and were replaced with Mr. Kunpeng Joseph and Eghan Liedong respectively.
