A Commerical Radio Station by name Info Radio Has postponed it’s Music Festival initially Slated for 12th August 2023 to November.

This was shared by the Radio Station with some explanations given to that effect.

In the Statement issued by Mr. Gabriel Mwini, the Station’s Manager, he indicated that It has to do with challenges they are currently facing with their event organizers.

The Info Radio Upper West Music Festival would have been a 2- days community inspired competitive Music Festival which is expected to feature the best and the brightest of musicians from all communities in the Upper West Region.

The event will features popular and influential musicians selected each from the 11 districts/municipalities of the Upper West Region for a magnetic live performance on main stage as well as guest influential artist of northern extraction.

According to the management of Info Radio, The primary aim of the event is to promote unity and diversity in the Upper West Region through music leveraging on the International Youth Day which falls on Saturday 12 August, 2023.

POSTPONEMENT OF MUSIC FESTIVAL

Info Radio regret to inform you that the Info Radio Upper West Music Festival 2023, initially planned to take place from Friday 11th-Saturday 12th August, 2023, has been postponed to November, 2023.

This has become necessary due to an unexpected challenge faced by our event planning team and our main event sponsor.

We feel it is best to postpone the event and reevaluate the music festival, so we can best serve the interest of all our music patrons and musicians in the coming scheduled month.
