Jirapa: 2 reportedly killed after Lightening and Thunder

Two (2) pupils of Ul-kpong Primary School in the Jirapa Municipality of the Upper West Region of Ghana have been reported dead following the violent lightening and thunder that accompanied yesterday’s evening downpour.

According to credible sources, the 2 male victims namely: Roland Gbelezie and Mulidu Dontuor were Basic 5 and Basic 3 pupils respectively of Ul-kpong Primary School.

It is reported that the victims were instantly left dead at the forecourt of their family house in the community after the lightening and thunder.

The two victims are said to be from the same family.

Core News’ checks have revealed that bodies of the two poor ones were buried last night whilst traditional mourning is underway at Dawii-yiri at Ul-kpong.
