Aliu Bandie, the Fulani herdsman who allegedly butchered some two women in Ping has pleaded NOT guilty.

He made the plead when he appeared before the Jirapa District Magistrate Court today Tuesday 6th June, 2023.

He has therefore been remanded into police custody again

According to Police sources, suspect Aliu Bandie will reappear in court on 13th June, 2023.

BACKGROUND

On the 25th of May 2023, Aliu Bandie allegedly butchered some two women in Ping, a suburb of Jirapa, Upper West Region.

He is reported to have gone into hiding after the act but luck eluded him. He was arrested and put behind bars at Hain Police Station.

He was charged with causing harm and put before the Jirapa District Magistrate Court on 30th May, 2023
