Passing Out Ceremony in Jirapa

Jirapa tailors Association, Group two (2) in the Jirapa municipality organized a passing out ceremony for 34 of their apprentices at St Anthony’s primary school yard on Saturday, the 30th of April,2022.

The MP for Jirapa constituency, Hon.Cletus Seidu Dapilah was invited to grace the occasion. He the (MP) together with the Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), honoured the invitation.

Alhaji Bonas, who said the NDC party will give contract to the tailors in the Jirapa constituency like SHS,JHS, and Crech uniforms for sewing if the NDC comes to power in 2024.

The MP said vocational training is one of the ways our people can also enroll in and benefit.He added that the party is registering apprentices in the Jirapa municipal to support them in their training.

The Chairman of the NDC Jirapa,Mr David Yeng presented 1000.00 and 100 bags of cement on behalf of the MP to the Tailors Association for their project they are embarking on.

Regional NDC Chairman, Abdul Saani Nasir Popularly called Bunas also presented a parcel each for the 34 apprentices (tape measure, scissors and the rest) on behalf of the MP.

The chairman of the Jirapa Tailors Association, group 2, Mr. Ben Suglo a k a wisdom 15 received the donations on behalf of the Association.
