The Late Naa Ansoleh Ganaa II was laid to Rest on Saturday 27th of May 2023 after he Passed on 17th February 2023.

Before ehai demise he had also served in various public capacities including the BNI.
He was Enskinned as Paramount Chief of Jirapa in 2005.

A Delegation from the National Democratic Congress’s Headquarters was in Jirapa to Mourn with the Family.

UWR-ATTENDANCE OF FUNERALS 27/05/2023

Earlier this morning, a high powered delegation from the National Democratic Congress from national, Regional and Constituencies  attended the funeral of the late Jirapa Naa, Naa Ansoglia Ganaa at Jirapa. The late Chief was known in private life as Mr Peter Nanfuri. He was the IGP during President Rawlings’ regime.

The delegation was made up of Alhaji Mahama Iddrisu, Chairman of council of elders , Prof Joshua Alabi, campaign manager and representative of H.E John Dramani Mahama,  Betty Mould Iddrisu, former AG, Hon Alex Mould, former GNPC boss, Regional Executives,  MP for Jirapa Constituency, Hon Cletus Seidu Dapila, Jirapa Constituency and other Constituency Executives and a host of Party faithfuls were all present to pay their last respect to our revered Chief.

On the other hand, some of our Regional Executives led by our Regional Organizer, Mr Thomas Saad also attended similar funerals at Goli in the Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency and Zambo in the Lawra Constituency.

Constituency Executives of  Nadowli/Kaleo and Lawra respectively, joined the Regional Executives to pay their last respect to our fallen comrades.

At Goli in the Nadowli/Kaleo Constituency, the team commiserated with our N/KC women organizer, Mary Haruna on the demise of their mother

At Zambio, in the Lawra Constituency, late comrade Philip Bagyo was laid to rest. The late Philip was the  secretary of our party in the Lawra constituency until 2018.

May all departed souls rest in the bosom of God🙏
