The Harvesting is Currently Ongoing

Reports Gathered by Ayamga Bawa Fatawu, A Photo Journalist within the Sissala East Municipality has revealed the harvest of Rosewood by Unidentified men in a section of the Jirapa Municipality called Nindowala.

A ban has been placed on the harvest of Rosewood by the Government.

Immediate Attention Needed

Intelligence picked from my outfit indicates an on-going harvesting, processing and transportation of the much talked rosewood in Nindowala in the Jirapa Municipal in the Upper West Region of Ghana.
Nindowala is just a stone throw away from Hain and also from Daajan in the Sissala West District.
The pictures and video below were taken today.
Despite the loud cry of the people for the inadequate rainfall for crop cultivation, some unscrupulous people still had the gust to fell a national banned tree species by name rosewood.
Who gives out conveyance to transport this rosewood to Tema?
Who inspectes them till this gets to Tema?
Who facilitates their exportation despite the ban?
