Some Nursing Trainees of the Jirapa St. Joseph Nursing Training College have written to Upper West Media Team declaring their plans to get Auditors and also reach out to the Ministry of Health over what the referred to as extortion.

According to the Students, They have been charged Ghc1,500, a 50% increment In their Feeding fee yet are underfed in the school, the complainants also added that they are being denied  breakfast with some of their meals lacking the necessary ingredients after increasing their feeding fees by 50%.

The students expressed Interest in getting an auditor to investigate the fettle.

“I am trying to reach ministry of health on behalf of me fellow students in st Joseph nursing training college Jirapa.our school has found ways to take our monies and with no reason,on our fee list and many more if you can help we the students with an auditor we’d be very glad and get to our school and get information from the students to expose them this is confidential because of this the school doesn’t want us to speak to the media.this is my personal number please don’t let them know about this number”.
