Concerned residents of Jonga electoral area in Wa municipality have called on stakeholders and public officials to tune their minds on their roads in order to get them fixed.
The residents suggested the road has deteriorated sharply and has become a death trap rather than the purpose it is set to serve.
The road links communities like Dinanso, Jonduori, Tabiesi, Boseyiri, Kpangkolee, Moujong to Wa Municipality and the natives there are mostly farmers who find it difficult transporting their farm produce to the capital leading to post harvest losses.

SAFE LIVES ON JONGA ROAD. Coalition of concern youth of Jonga electoral area calling on ,the newly regional minister, MCE , NGOS and benevolent organizations to come to their aid , the good people of Jonga electoral area and others communities that used the road disclosed that they are not happy about the road network at Jonga and explained that ever since the road was constructed by man power, the gutters was constructed by human labour the road never got any construction again and because of that the road network is very terrible and even small and that made it difficult for two vehicles to pass , NOT Long ago , A young woman believed to be in her 30’s has been crushed to death by a tipper truck which necessitated the concern group to draw authorities attention and concern people once again that , On 4th of April, 2019.we heard a very sad news that our mother, sister, wife ,teacher and mentor who was coming from school had a very terrible accident and died on the spot .due to the bad and poor nature of the road and lost her precious life and more another lives on the road ,Now it has created fears and panic for people who used the road . therefore plead on the regional minister , member of Parliament and MCE to come and safe more lives and properties.
So Far, the Wa Central MCE, Hon. Issahaku Tahiru has been able to fix the Nakori-Chansa Road and is set to get Danko and Charia Roads fixed to boost trading and movement of goods and people.
