The Upper West Regional Security Council has issued a Statement Countering Speculations that suggest that Issues of Killings in Wa are being left off the hook.

Speaking to the Media During a Cultural Exhibition Exercise at the Naa Sidiki Bomi II Park in Wa, the Upper West Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Peter Maala on Behalf of The Regional Minister Issued a Statement In connection to the Murder of Some Security Men in the Past Two Years.

“…One the Issue of Recent happenings in the Wa Municipality, that is the serial killings, which has brought tension and fear in the Municipality, i wish to assure you that the government agencies and security agencies are seriously on course to unravel those behind the murders, we will continue to count on your support and patience as efforts are made each day to being the perpetuators to book..”

More than 11 Death Cases have been recorded in strange circumstances within the Upper West Region, Precisely, some Parts of Wa East and Wa Municipality involving security men on duty.

A major Suspect by name Kankani Adongo was Arrested on 19th of September 2022 at Bamahu in relation to the Serial Killings.
