Hon. Braimah I. Wikana, DCE for Lambussie yesterday joined the Hamile community to observe the Eid Prayers.
While addressing the congregation after the prayers, he called for unity among all so that we can develop as a District.
He said it is only through unity and peaceful coexistence that the District can develop.
He also used the opportunity to thank Allah for guiding us through this month of Ramadan and asked for his continues blessings and protection.
He noted that in recent times there have been reported cases of terror attacks in our neighboring Burkina and since the District shares boarder with them there is the need for us to be vigilante.
He said as we might have all heard, a man suspected to be a Burkinabe was arrested in church here in Hamile with a gun and investigation is currently ongoing.
He said however that there is no need for us to panic as the security agencies are on the grounds to ensure that we are protected.
Hon. DCE was accompanied by zonal chairman, some constituency executives, and party faithfuls.
