NDC’s Parliamentary Primaries are drawing closer and in February, several interested candidates will begin processes to take forms in order to contest.
The Lambussie Constituency Seat isn’t left out. There are several reports of some interested people premeditating to contest in the Impending race.
Some obvious names Include Edward Dery who was the former member of Parliament for Lambussie Constituency.
Dr Titus Beyuo is also set to contest Lambussie Constituency Parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the NDC,this was Revealed by Sissala Radio in the 10th of January 2023.
Dr Titus Beyuo, a PhD holder in Epidemiology from the leading university in the Netherlands, The University of Utrecht. Two terminal degrees, Fellow of Ghana College of Surgeons and PhD in clinical epidemiology.
There has also be reports that the Former NDC Regional Communication Officer, Mr. Puo-ire Prosper is Premeditating to Contest in the Lambussie Constituency Primaries.
the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has slated Saturday, May 6, this year for its presidential primary to elect a standard bearer for the 2024 general polls.
The party said its parliamentary primary would be held con-currently on the same day.
The proposed timetable released by the party on Thursday said the opening of nominations would be from Monday, February 22 to Wednesday, February 24, 2023.
It said vetting of the aspirants would be held from Monday, March 27, 2023 to Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
According to the release, after the vetting has been conducted, aspirants who have issues with the process would have the opportunity to appeal from between March 30, 2023 and April 6, 2023 after which the election would be held on May 6.
It said parliamentary forms would be sold at GH¢5,000 and filing fees at GH¢40,000.
Likewise, the presidential forms would go GH¢50,000 and filing fees pegged at GH¢500,000.
