When upperwestmedia team got to Lisa, a community close to Nandom-Ko on Saturday 5th of November 2022, a young man on a green tricycle donated by MEDA Canada with no registration number was spotted fetching and conveying gravel on the Domwine-Ko Road as at 9:30am.

The young man used a shovel to convey the gravel together nethering that section of the road and exposing it to erosion.

Speaking to some natives of the area, an outspoken Resident[name withheld] Indicated that is was prohibited for any individual to fetch or mine sand from another’s plot of land, a development that compelled some people to mine from major roads covered with gravel because such areas are not solely owned by individuals.

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Area, Hon. Jacob Dery has been urged to address the development to save some major roads in the area from destruction.
