The MCE for Lawra, Hon. Martin Bomba-Ire in the company of his able Coordinating Director, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Majeed on Monday and Tuesday, distributed over 20 bags of sugar to the four Muslim communities within his municipality to help in this year’s Ramadan.

Speaking to the Muslim leaders before handing over the bags of sugar, he said as the president representative in the municipality, this gesture is part of president Akufo-Addo’s dreams to support all Muslims during this most beautiful month in the Islamic calendar.

He commended the communities for the peace accorded to his administration and urged them to take opportunity of this glorious month for Allah to bestow on the municipality the necessary peace and love needed for our development.

The community and Islamic leaders expressed their profound gratitude and appreciation to the MCE, President, the NPP govt and the Member of Parliament Hon. Anthony N-yoh Abayifaa Karbo for the love and care they have for the Muslim communities in the Municipality.

They offered prayers for greater wisdom, patience, love, for the President, MCE, his director and his administration.
