The Newly elected NPP Chairman for Lawra Constituency, Mr. Kuunifaa Kennedy has called for collective ideas and unity from both vanquished and elected executives in order to defeat the NDC in the impending 2024 elections.
CONSTITUENCY CHAIRMAN ELECT FOR LAWRA – SIR KUUNIFAA KENNEDY WRITES…….
Pleasantries of the day to the good people of the Lawra constituency and most especially to my fellow Patriots of the New Patriotic Party.
It is with great joy and happiness that I come to you all today to say a very big thank you to each and everyone for the show of love, support, encouragement and prayers during our struggle for the Chairmanship of our dear party.
Together with fellow party men and women, we got into a frantic race hoping and relying on God and our distinguished party delegates to crown us into various office positions and today, with a big smile and a grateful heart I give glory and praises to God Almighty for a very successful, peaceful and violence free elections.
However, it is important to note that, the race from all other contenders and competitors was one of a show of good sportsmanship. My main competitor, the out going Constituency Chairman made this race worthwhile and for which he should be credited.
Similarly, I would want to use this medium to congratulate all the candidates who emerged Victorious in this contest and also to wish them well as we embark on the journey of Service to our dear party, our Constituency and our people.
To the vanquish, loosing an election doesn’t end the road of your service to the party. Remember that one can still serve the party in diverse ways and in different capacities besides occupying an elected party position.
Again, this is the time for us all to get back together, time to show our sincere love and patriotism to the party, time to own the day to day activities of the party and work towards our collective victory without waiting to be called upon to serve and the time to be more committed and dedicated to our common course, the course of the general party, the course of loyalty and patriotism to the party and not to any individual, and the course to Break the 8 and regain our parliamentary seat from the NDC.
