A truck loaded with goods and traders was reported to have veered off the road at Serekpere in the Nadowli-Kaleo District.
The truck was returning from Babile when the unfortunate happened.
Some traders which are mostly women have sustained injuries in the process and have been rushed to the Nadowli Hospital for medical attention.
According to an eyewitness called Rogerr Banye in Nadowli Hospital, Six dead bodies have been brought to the hospital. And one patient has just been confirmed dead.
