The Member of Parliament for Sissala East Constituency, Hon. Amidu Chinnia has congratulated the Newly elected constituency Executives of the Various Constituencies within the Region after their Internal elections were held on the 30th of April 2022.
In a statement he pasted on hi social media handle, the Lawmaker for Sissala East advocated for change in the regional level of the Party, he called for delegates to vote against some regional executives in order for the party not completely lose the gains they made in 2016.

“Let me congratulate all elected party officers in the Upper West Region. It is victory for the party and we must rally all the contestants to regroup and put the party in a position to win the 2024 elections.
I must however take this opportunity to urge all newly elected officers to join hands to bring some radical changes in the regional leadership of the party to ensure improved performance in the 2024 general elections. Upper West NPP risk further derailing our gains in 2016 if we don’t
under go some changes in the regional Leadership.”
