Ghana international midfielder Mubarak
Wakaso has revealed that he dreams of
playing in the English Premier League before
he hangs his boots. Wakaso joined Las Palmas on loan from
Russian side Rubin Kazan after the move to
Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad collapsed due to
agents rifts. He joined Celtic last season on a season long
loan deal but endured a torrid time in Scotland
as his stint with the club was marred by
injuries and a prolonged stay on the bench. In an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, he
disclosed that he will be interested in a move to
England. “It is my move to move to England to play in
the English Premier League but I know
everything comes with time.” he said. I know in time I will move there as it is my big
dream.” Wakaso was part of the Ghana team that beat
Rwanda 1-0 in the recent AFCON 2017
qualifying game where he scored the only goal
of the game.
