As time draws closer people of Upper West are Getting more anxious to who will occupy the Seat of Nadowli-Kaleo as D.C.E. three known people have applied for the seat  namely

  1. Osbert Dambiah , He is currently the Assistant Headmaster for Kaleo Senior High Technical School.
  2. Philip Yaw Braimah, He is a teacher at Kambali Islamic Junior High School, He is also the regional Research officer for the New Patriotic Party.
  3.  Bernadette Kpebah, She worked as head of Non-Formal Education in the Kuffuor Administration, 2006 and also a retired teacher.

The question now is who becomes the Next D.CE For Nadowli-Kaleo District?

From Reliable Sources, Osbert Dambiah has been ruled out of the race whiles the hot seat is between Philip Braimah and Bernadette Kpebah.

Why Elvis Botaa Wasn’t Part Of The List:

Elvis Banuemuleng Botaa was not shortlisted because he didn’t apply for the position, he came to an agreement with party executives of NPP to contest the 2020 elections and the policy was for him not to stand for the position of District Chief Executive if he wants to contest for the Member of Parliament on a Ticket of NPP.

He agreed with the decision not to stand for the position of District Chief Executive in Nadowli-Kaleo.

Bernadette Kpebah:

She attended Bolga Women’s Training College, graduated in 1976 and Later furthered her Education at University of Education, Winneba. She Graduated From Winneba in 2007.

She worked for Non- Formal Education as Head of Department till January 2009.

Bernadette Kpebah is a retired teacher who worked several years with Ghana Education Service, Nadowli-Kaleo District.

Philip Yaw Braimah:

Mr Philip is the research and election officer of the New Patriotic Party who has worked with electoral commission from 2011-2015 with vast experience in elections.


Mr. Philip Graduated from Nusrat Jahan College of Education in 1991 and Taught for 13years before furthering studies at the University for Development where he offered Integrated Development Studies From 2004-2008.
