The Duong Community Located in Nadowli-Kaleo District has been Supported with a Two Bedroom Facility to accommodate it’s health workers posted to the area to serve.

This was sponsored by the United States Government through the United States Agency for International Development USAID/OTI on Thursday 14th September 2023.

The Occasion was graced by Upper West Regional Minister and Upper West Regional Director of Health, Dr. Damian Punguyire, Dr. Punguyire expressed gratitude to the Duong Pognaa Rosemary Bangzie Mumwillima and Stakeholders for their role in getting the Accommodation gaps of heath workers bridged in the Duong Community, he pledged that the facility shall be maintained and used for it’s intended purpose.

Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, who was special guest at the Occasion, commended the people of Doung for collaborating with the Pognaa which has resulted in the construction of the facility. He urge other Queen Mothers in the region to emulate the example of Pognaa Rosemary.
