The Assembly Member for Goriyiri Electoral Area in the Nadowli-Kaleo District, Mr Mwinterebo Nestor has bemoaned the poor state of roads within his electoral area.
Speaking to Info Radio, Mr Nestor said that his electoral area has been left out of the Transport Sector Improvement Project, a project funded by the European Union to improve community roads in the Upper West Region.
According to the Goriyiri assembly member, most communities in his electoral area are cut-off due to bad roads, making it difficult for residents to access major essential services in nearby communities and the district capital.
Mr Nestor has therefore appealed to the Nadowli-Kaleo district assembly and the government to rehabilitate roads in his electoral area to enable residents access essential services with ease.
