Parents and guardians at Bayaruu in the Nanvile Electoral Area of the Nadowli- Kaleo District have appealed to the government to extend the School Feeding Program (SFP) to the Basic school in the community.

According to parents, they have been contributing foodstuffs daily to prepare food for the schoolchildren in order to sustain them during school orders.

Speaking to Info Radio at the community, Mr. Kongyelekonie Tubieboolidor, a parent, said due to the absence of the school feeding program, they have to levy themselves to cook food for the children.

He observed most children in the community do not attend because there is no feeding for them, but following their contribution to cooking for them, a lot of them are enrolled.
