The Upper West Regional Chairman of the Governing New Patriotic Party has been cautioned by a section of the Opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) over what they termed as a threat to one of their sitting Members of Parliament, Dr. Sebastian Saandare.
Mr. S.B Kangberee earlier in the week assured his party he will clinch the Dafiama-Bussie-Issa’s Parliamentary seat from the main opposition Party.
Mr. Kangberee assured that they would kill cattle and perform the necessary rituals to ensure they win the seat.
He added that the Current Member of Parliament, Dr. Sandaare can rather lose his life or fall sick and as that can possibly favor their party in the constituency.
This drew the attention of the Opposition NDC and as a result, its members called for the Chairman to retract his threatening statements or face their wrath.
