
The Upper West Region has voted in NPP’s Internal Elections held on the 30th of April 2022.
Nandom Constituency is excluded as all Executives have been retained via unanimous decision.
The Sissala West Constituency in the Past Days have seen high level of violence in the party level with its Nasara coordinator being attacked by Party Thugs in the Constituency.
Mr. Iddrisu Walaika a victim of Physical Assault and brutality was retained as Nasara Coordinator for Sissala West Constituency Despite Agitation against his style of leadership.
Walaika was transferred to Upper West Regional Hospital after sustaining cutlass wounds.
He has been retained by the Party as Nasara Coordinator for the Constituency even without campaigning.

He won with a margin of 6 Votes.
Secondly, The Lawra Constituency has changed its chairman Alhaji Mohammed Donkor to Mr. Kennedy Kuunifaa After the Just Ended Election
Mr. Mohammed Donkor in the Past, Mr. Donkor Was Accused by the Former Member of Parliament for Lawra and 2020 parliamentary Candidate of Sabotaging the Party in the constituency, his official vehicle was seized from Him ahead of the 2020 election for campaigning against Mr. Anthony Karbo, Former Deputy Minister for Roads and Highways.
Alhaji Donkor has since lost his position and the Former Member of Parliament has since gone to his social media page to celebrate.

Lastly, the Wa Central Constituency has dropped a long time chairman popularly tagged as Mugabe in Wa, Ali Kamara has been chairman for over 8 years and several people have accused him of various issues, some party members have accused him of disuniting the party and sabotaging some parliamentary candidates for his own interest. He has also been accused of sabotaging Hajia Humu Awudu, the current parliamentary candidate’s bid to be Member of Parliament for Wa Central.
Chairman Ali Kamara has since lost to Mr. Osuman Abdul Hamid.
