The New Patriotic Party’s Parliamentary Candidate for Wa Central is set to tie the Knot in Wa on 16th of February 2020.
The Marriage will be between Hajia Humu Awudu and Mr. Abdul Rahim Abdulai from Kabanye in the Wa Municipality.
The Marriage rite is expected to take place in Limanyiri Dupuoriyipaala (Wa Limanyiri Musibile)
at exactly 7:00am.
The Announcement was met with various criticisms by some group of people purported to be members of the opposition party NDC who have questioned the competence and eligibility of Hajia Humu Awudu to lead an Islamic community in parliament without a husband.
