The Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Hon
Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha a.k.a Action Man
today led a team of young men from all
political parties, some Assembly
Members and Staff and Zoomlion Workers to clean the main gutter and
other filthy in the Wa Central Market
(Kejetia) and lorry stations.
The exercise, which was massively
attended, started at 7am until all the
filthy areas were cleared. Speaking to the media after the exercise,
Hon Putiaha, who is the DEAN of the
UPPER WEST MDCEs thanked all for
taking part and urge all to make
cleanliness as part of their habits. He
called on all to take part in the 59th Independence Day Ceremony tomorrow
at the Naa Sidiki Bomi’s Park.
The Wa Municipal Assembly reserve the
bragging as pacesetters of the Monthly
Sanitation Day which was made a
National exercise. The assembly, since December 2013,
have been doing monthly cleanups in the
municipality.
