Sissala East: 5 Communities within 105km have no access to School, Electricity, Water and Clinic

Following a Report made by Balu Mohammed, a Professional Journalist within the Sissala East Municipality, it has been uncovered that over 5 Communities in the East of Sissala East Municipality 105km distant from the Capital Tumu have no access to Electricity, Schools, Water and a Health Facility.

The Communities depends on a local market within Bawiesebelle, Over 29 Children aged between 3 and 10 have no schools to attend.
Roads to the communities are deplorable with Residents depending or motorbikes for mobility.

According the 2021 Population and housing Census, the Sissala East has a population of 80,619 with 39,868 being men whilst 40,751 are females.

“The journey from Tumu, Nabulo to Du, Bawiesebelle to Komo to the outlandish community of Bayorborjan is 105km where there is no school, water, clinic, electricity and access road. I met Hayen Lumba in Bawiesebelle, and they saw the aged long Bawiesebelle market, Komo with poles and no lights and Bayorborjan where over 30 children aged between 3 and 10 have no school to attend.
