MP For Sissala East Donates to Students of UEW

Mr. Amidu Chinnia Issahaku, Member of Parliament for Sissala East Constituency, has given a set of jerseys, two footballs, and a rechargeable public address system to the Sissala Students Union of the University of Education Winneba branch. The donation was to support the activities of the student union, both physically and mentally.

Mr. Abdul-Fatawu Jagbe Batie made the donation on behalf of the lawmaker at Winneba yesterday. He said, “I stand on behalf of the MP to donate a set of jerseys, two footballs, and a public address system to demonstrate his commitment to unearthing the potential of the youth and to encourage them to put on their best”.

The Deputy Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources posted on his Facebook page acknowledging that the youth are the foundation of tomorrow’s future; therefore, he has resolved to assist in whatever way possible to help them achieve their career goals. He also noted, “About two weeks ago, the leadership of the Students Union Winneba campus visited me at the office and requested these items to assist them in participating in sporting activities in the school, and I have them today, on behalf of my research assistant”.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Union, Mr Zakaria Jaasu Abdul-Baari.thank the MP for responding to their request. He said “I want to thank the Honourable MP and Deputy Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources for his relentless continued support to this Union. He added the MP doors have always been opened to them anytime the group knocks.
