In August 2022, the Jeffisi-Kassana Bridge in the Sissala Enclave was awarded on Contract to the Military, the projects was monitored by the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council, some Military Engineers and Staff of the Sissala West Assembly.
It was revealed that the project would be completed in September 2022 after it was declared that the project was 60% Complete, it’s yet to be Fully Completed.
The Upper West Region’s Detachment Commander of the 48 Regiments, Captain Gideon Darko Agyare explained that they were deployed to the Site on 10th of July 2022 to work on the broken down bridges, the project includes boreholes.
Meanwhile, the Sissala West District Chief Executive, Madam Aisha Batong-Hor has stipulated that she needs to be credited for the project.
