The District chief executive of the sissala west district Hon. Mohammed Bakor has disclosed that women from sissala west district will benefit from interventions under the NPP government including bead making.

Some of the women will also be engaged in agriculture, particularly soybean farming.

The DCE during the ‘haalaa dunia program’ on Thursday afternoon , stated that “water is life” .

The NPP government has therefore drilled five (5) boreholes in Gwollu Township with jerffisi inclusive, fertilizer subsidy to encourage women farmers into soya bean farming and others, women therefore will be trained on businesses such as soap making, sandals, soya beans, meat and an office will be opened for serious women to be employed for production to commence so they can earn something from it, he mentioned.

MASLOC will be revamped to take charge of the business aspect by giving soft loans to women as capital for them to start small scale businesses using the knowledge acquired.
