There has been several debates around the Spheres of the Upper West Region and beyond as to where Mohammed Kudus is from.

Some pictures of his were spotted on Social Media with Kudus at his hometown with some Brothers on our usual traditional resting logs known as dangboglo in Dagaare/Waali.

Some People have opined that Kudus is From Wa in the Upper West Region because of the Name he bears and his ability to speak Waali fluently.

This speaks volumes and clearly shows that we should invest in the potentials of people for them to be able to achieve their targets in life, let’s always claim ownership when all things are going well, how many footballers have been Abel to penetrate the region successfully through the aid of others within the Region, bone has even be recommended by Our members of Parliament, Business Men to the Ghana Football Association.

In actual facts, Kudus is from Kpongiri in the Savannah Region of Ghana formerly Nothern Region of Ghana.

Speaking to Assembly Member for Gyindabuo in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, Hon. Abass Braimah, he revealed that Kudus Regularly Visits his hometown Kpongiri, he added that people from Kpongiri, Yipala and Nahaare are Dagaaba from the Upper West Region.

Some Residents of Kpongiri in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District reportedly moved from Takpo in the Nadowli-Kaleo District for the purpose of farming.
