The Public Utility Regulatory Commission through the Volta River Authority has announced plans to take away power supply in the Next 24 hours and 48 hours respectively. Power shall be taken in saturday from 8am to 4pm and on Su day from 8am to 4pm.

However the Sissala East,  Sissala West,  Wa East,  West and Wa Central per their announcement wont be affected.

EMERGENCY POWER OUTAGE

Reliable information available to the PURC indicate that there will be power outage on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May, 2022 from 8:00AM to 4:00pm each day. This is to enable NEDCo correct major defects detected during it’s routine inspections.

Areas to be affected are:
Wa Regional hospital, Nadowli district and it’s environs, parts of Hain in the Lambussie district and it’s environs, parts of Dafiama-Busie-Issa district and it’s environs, Lawra district and it’s environs, Jirapa district and it’s environs and Nandom district and it’s environs.
