The entire community of Wa Municipal was thrown to a shock after information revealed one of radio progress’s most articulate and influential hosts, Alhaji Banaman Kayaanaa was pronounced dead.

He was a Bp thus blood pressure patient and was harassed by the ailment regularly. Doctors recommended exercising daily to reduce the risk of shock and due to this he had to walk miles to keep fit.

Alhaji Banaman was rushed to Tamale Teaching Hospital for treatment a week before his demise; he gave up the ghost in Tamale and was brought to Wa Jangbeyiri where he hails from to be buried as Islamic customs demand. He was married to five wives.

Alhaji  Banaman worked as a public relations officer for Upper West Regional hospital when he was alive.
