The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih in an Interview with Seyidou Bhomanjo on 18th of July 2022 at GBC Radio Upper West indicated he has no intention of contesting in any Parliamentary Elections.

Some Rumors have circulated, indicating the Minister has nursed an intention of contesting in the NPP Parliamentary primaries of Wa East Constituency in order to go to Parliament.

According to his Spokesperson, Bipuah Mohammed, the Minister has no intention of Contesting any constituency Elections within the Upper West Region.
