The Vice Chancellor of DHLTU, Prof. Elias N.K Sowley on February 8, 2023, received a delegation from the U.S Embassy in his office.
The three-member delegation was led by the Cultural Affairs Attaché of the Embassy, Madam R. Laneice Brooker.
According to Madam Brooker, she and her team were in the institution to interview students of DHLTU who have applied for the U.S Community Colleges Initiative Program. She added that qualified students will have the opportunity to study in the U.S for an academic year. Madam R. Laneice Brooker said that the U.S Community Colleges Initiative Program enhances learning and builds understanding amongst people of different cultures.
On his part, the Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Embassy for considering DHLTU among the Institutions in the country that are benefitting from the program. He added that Management would provide the delegation the necessary assistance during their stay on campus.
The U.S Embassy delegation also included Ms. Rukmini Kukua Cofie, Public Engagement Specialist and Ms. Bernice Affotey, Education Adviser.
