UW: Bring Back TroTro Buses – Students of SDD-UBIDS

Some Students of the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies(SDD-UBIDS) have advocated for Trotro services to be reintroduced in the School.

According some Students who spoke to Upperwestmedia Team, they explained that the Introduction of the mini bus transport business popularly known as TroTro will facilitate easy movement to and from school.

They added that,  it will make options available for students and also serve as an easy avenue for mass movements compared to a tricycle which carry few people.

TroTro was commonly used as a means of transport to then UDS Campus in Wa before the University was made Autonomous, trotro business faded out in the first Quarter of 2019.

SDD-UBIDS was established by the Government of Ghana in 2019 and given a mandate by Act 1001 of 2019.
The School overseen by Prof. Philip Duku Osei admitted 4, 372 Students for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
