Chairman of 2022’s Upper West Cultural Week and Regional Festival of Arts and Culture, Naa Pagiraninge Mornah Saakoe II has advocated for Government’s support in Projecting and making Culture and it’s heritage economically relevant to the Country.

“Government should work with traditional authorities to Document, Protect and make Economic gains from our art works and culture…”

He urged the Media to promote Ghana’s cultural heritage by allocating some time out for such programs.

He also Revealed that the Program will be Organized Annually, bemoaning that Culture comes last instead of first because it’s considered as having a negative impact or Influence on Development.

He made the revelation when he read his acceptance speech at the maiden Cultural Week festival held at Wa Jubilee Park on 18th of November 2022.

Upper West Cultural Week and Regional Festival of Arts and Culture will be held at the Naa Sidiki Bomi II Park from 18th of November to 20th September 2022.
