
The AZUMAH Resources Limited, a Mining Company with Head office in Nadowli has explained that that their Yet-to-commence mining activities will not affect Water bodies in the Area including The Black Volta River.
Speaking to Upper West Media Team in an Engagement, Mr. Solomon Dery, a Staff of AZUMAH indicated that some artificial Dams shall be established as soon as they begin Mining fully after testing.
He continued that their work is ethical and Established around standards that seek to protect the environment.
He continued that they have carried out their activities well and have paid the required dues to the Nadowli Assembly including an annual fee of Ghc81,000 to the Nadowli District Assembly.
Mr. Solomon Added that an 84km Major Mining Road to convey equipments from Danyuo Kuraa in Wa East District to Chari-Kpong in the Nadowli-Kaleo District is set to be constructed.
