Who was attempting to escape into neighboring Burkina Faso but was arrested and handed over to the Regional police Command for further investigation.
Rashid Jebril is a resident of Duori and is a tricycle (cando) rider.
Mr. Jebril was suspected to have engaged in human abduction and Killings within the Wa Municipality alongside some 10 suspects including Kankani Adongo apprehended on the 19th of September 2022, in connection with the Killings.
Three security men were attacked in September, two were killed one was injured. One mentally deranged man was also killed opposite Wa Senior High School.
13 cases of Abduction and Killings were recorded in 2022 alone.
Police Have called for Calm urging that the necessary arrests and prosecutions shall be done.
