The Member of Parliament for Lambussie Constituency, Dr Bright Baligi has Expressed worry with the rate at which people use his name and hard-won reputation to extort money from innocent people in and outside the constituency.

HON.DR BRIGHT BAKYE YELVIEL BALIGI WARNS THE PUBLIC AGAINST FRAUDSTERS.

It has come to the attention of the office of the Hon.Member of Parliament for Lambussie Constituency, that some unscrupulous persons are going about, claiming to be assigns and associates of the MP, and demanding various sums of money from unsuspecting well-wishers under the guise of ‘assisting’ them in many ways, including possible recruitment into the security and or public services through the number *0269209869*(which number the Hon. MP had abandoned over ten (10) years ago)

By this Press Release, the office of the MP would like to state categorically:

1. That Hon. Dr. Bright Bakye Yelviel Baligi DOES NOT and has NEVER taken a dime, and has NOT authorized anyone, including the staff of his office, to collect money from anyone in return for any form of assistance.

2.That Hon. Dr. Bright Bakye Yelviel Baligi does not demand money from anyone to offer them any assistance or opportunity.

3.That the general public and Lambussie constituents in particular, should disregard any request whatsoever from anyone purporting to be his assign or associate under the guise of “offering” them any help.

3.That the general public is highly encouraged, especially those who have already fallen victims to such criminal behaviour, to report to the appropriate authorities for investigation and prosecution.
