UW : Murder Case In Jirapa, Police Gives More Details

The Upper West Regional Police Command headed by DCOP Peter Ndekugri Anambugri has released more details concerning a mruxer case recorded in Jirapa Tamapaaala, in the Letter, the Police Revealed that an eight months old child who was admitted at the Jirapa St. Joseph Hospital was transferred to Wa.

20 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGEDLY MURDERING HIS MOTHER AND TWO OTHERS AT JIRAPA

the Upper West Regional Police Command on 28th August, 2022 arrested 20-year old suspect Anthony Yengbor for the murder of his mother and two others as well as causing harm to an eight months old baby at Tampaala, a suburb of Jirapa.

The suspect allegedly attacked his 60 year old mother, his landlord’s wife, his
sister and her cight (8) months old son. The victims who were found in a
critical condition were taken to the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Jirapa for medical attention.

The three women were however pronounced dead on arrival at the Hospital.

The eight (8) month old baby survived and is receiving treatment at the Regional Hospital.

Bodies of deceased have been deposited at the same Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.

The accused person, Anthony Yengbor was arraigned betfore the Jirapa
Magistrate Court on 30″August, 2022 and has been remanded into prisonsc to reappear on 19th September, 2022.

The Police continues to work to establish the circumstances that led to such an unfortunate incident.
